F*ck The Supreme Court Tee *Trans Flag Edition*
What started as a design in response of the not-so-supreme-court overturning Roe V Wade in June 22nd, 2022 - just 4 years later they released a decision on Transgender Athletes - specially remember all these cases and claims started with children's sports and activities - (Case: West Virginia v. BPJ and Little v. Hecox link to HRC Press Release): The court found that these bans are not in violation of the Equal Protection Clause or Title IX, but does not serve to create a nationwide blanket ban on transgender athletes. The court primarily addressed the lawfulness of anti-transgender discrimination within the context of sports. Disappointingly, the court held that unlike other federal nondiscrimination statutes, Title IX is limited to “biological sex” discrimination. However, the court declined to determine which level of scrutiny claims of anti-transgender discrimination should receive, leaving other current rights and protections for transgender people outside of sports vulnerable.
Original Design Commentary:
Reproductive healthcare for all! I think it's safe to say everyone is shocked but not shocked about the supreme court overturning Roe V Wade. Anyone not living under a rock has seen this coming for a long time - even before the document leak. Now more than ever support needs to be show for abortion rights and access. Making them illegal will not stop folks from getting them, but it will make access and care for some extremely dangerous (and deadly).
Crew Neck Tee Details:

SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY HAVE NEVER BEEN UP FOR DEBATE
MADE TO ORDER SHIRT PRINTING: By printing on demand, we eliminate waste from excess inventory. Made-to-order is making a difference in traditional retail and taking a step towards sustainable and responsible fashion production. In traditional made-to-sell retail stores, products are made in large quantities and often exceed market demand. Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage.
We use direct to garment printing for our apparel, which uses inkjet technology: the water-based ink is sprayed onto the garment, helping the ink soak in better with no excess ink or dye.
SWEATSHOP FREE AND ECO-AWARE PRACTICES: We prioritize using providers that manufacture in the U.S. first followed by internationally in no sweatshop, humane, sustainable way. Almost the entire manufacturing process takes place right here in America - designing, dyeing and cutting it in the USA. Then, the garments are assembled in the U.S. or Central America.
VIRTUALLY ZERO WASTE: The manufacturing facilities produce almost no landfill because they recycle everything that can't be turned into a tee. They've optimized the cutting to reduce plastic use, and excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs or stuffing for upholstery. Let nothing go to waste!
By using green companies that take opportunities to reduce co2 emissions, they use 7x less water than average clothing manufacturers, and their manufacturing facilities produce almost no landfill because they are able to recycle everything that can't be turned into a item.
Wash + Care instructions:
To keep your printed apparel and accessory items looking their best for the longest, we recommend the following:
- Machine wash cold, inside-out, on gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors.
- Use non-chlorine bleach when/if appropriate and only when necessary. Avoid using fabric softeners or other laundry additives.
- Tumble dry low, or hang-dry item for longest garment life.
- Base items made from high quantities of cotton are prone to shrinkage, even if labeled "pre-shrunk" when exposed to high heat in the drying process.
- Use a cool iron inside-out on the garment, if necessary. Do not iron the printed area/decoration.
- Do not dry clean.
Following these guidelines will help increase overall the longevity and resist fading and cracking of the print, while resisting shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.
Print Processes:
We use two different printing methods for our apparel: direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology or direct-to-film (DTF) printing technology. Both methods offer high quality, vibrate color prints that have been tested by us.
Embroidered Apparel
Embroidered apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. You can use a small amount of chlorine bleach, but non-chlorine is the safer option.
If you notice any color residue in water, rinse the garment in lukewarm water and then in cold several times, but try not to rub any stained embroidery. Embroidered clothing can also be dry-cleaned.
After washing, don't leave the clothing to soak or lie in a pile while wet. Don't wring out the embroidered items, but if you want to tumble-dry them, use a cool air setting.
If the garment needs ironing, do it inside-out, preferably between two pieces of cloth. You shouldn't wet embroidery before ironing or use a steam iron.
Embroidered Hats and Beanies
Embroidered hats and beanies can be wiped clean with a damp cloth in the spots where it’s needed. If necessary, they can be hand-washed cold. Don’t use brushes. None products can’t be bleached, tumble-dried, ironed, or dry-cleaned. Read the manufacturer label carefully for any other instructions.
Bags
All-over print backpacks, fanny packs, and duffle bags need to be hand-washed without bleach. Don’t dry-clean or tumble-dry the bags. You can iron these bags with a low heat setting.
All-over print totes and drawstring bags can be machine-washed without bleach on a cold cycle. They can't be tumble-dried or dry-cleaned. You can iron these bags with a low heat setting.
Mugs
Our White Glossy Mugs and White Ceramic Mugs with Color Inside are microwave and dishwasher safe, but the print and coating will last longer if you hand-wash them.
The Enamel Mugs and the Black Glossy Mugs, however, should only be hand-washed. Also, you can’t heat liquids or food directly in them, it can damage their coating.
Posters and Canvas
To ensure that your posters and canvas last for a long time, don’t keep them in direct sunlight or outdoors. They can be gently dusted with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.
