This is a custom item and requires extra time to ship once we receive your photos. We ask you to provide at least 3 high quality images of your pet and to let is known about any important details we may need to illustrate. All orders will receive emailed proof showing illustration before printing and shipping item. Any revisions will be made to pet illustration before printing, if required. 

How These Are Created:

First your pet is illustrated digitally and the proof is approved by you. Afterwards, the digital art is converted into the layers for the cut files. After the layers are cut, it's assembled by hand. 3D portraits incorporate raised layers of cardstock in the final construction of the artwork with on average 4-6 different layers, at different depths - this also depends on how many colors are in the pet. Raised areas typically are around the ears, nose, mouth, etc. depending on the pet.

• You will receive 1 copy of the original artwork. 
• Each piece is handcrafted and unique.
• This listing includes 8x10 paper cut original artwork with mat board.
• Artwork mounted directly to 8x10 base layer, final size of paper cut portrait is approximately 6"x6" placed in the center of the mat.
• Due to construction of piece, it cannot be removed from the included mat board.
• Price includes frame with option to remove the frame. Can be displayed in any 8x10 frame if you choose to not have our frame included.
• Additional copies can be ordered and may have slight differences in the final appearance.
• Museum quality, acid-free base layer to preserve fine art, 100% cotton rag or Printed Cardstock (if a custom pattern is used).
• PH Neutral, Acid Free Archival Glue.
• Custom-Printed and/or Colored Cardstock Paper.
• Designed and made to order in Chicago.

Current Processing Timelines: 

On average, custom orders take 4-6 weeks to process, seasonally this extends to 6-8 weeks around the holiday season. This page is updated regularly with the current wait time.

NOTE: Processing times are approximate, sometimes they are shorter and sometimes they are longer (usually no more than an extra couple weeks). If you need your order as a gift by a specific date, please let me know in the order notes or via email and I will try to accommodate the request. If the processing time is going to be more than 4 weeks outside of your original processing window, you will be contacted directly via email.
