Stonewall was never a riot, but rather an uprising that lasted over the course of 6 days starting on June 28th, 1969 and was a series of events between police and LGBTQ+ protesters. Police used the word "riots" to justify the acts of violence against protestors (because of course they f*cking did). The events around Stonewall gathered a lot of media coverage and shifted the activism and subsequent US annual pride celebrations in June. It was not the first time nor would it be the last time such acts of rebellion are displayed as people of the LGBTQ+ community continue in present day in the ongoing fight for equal rights.

Care Instructions: Machine wash on cold and tumble dry on low.
NO SWEATSHOPS/PLATINUM WRAP CERTIFICATION: Doing things the right way has never been up for debate. Our shirt provider has been manufacturing in the U.S. and internationally in a no sweatshop, humane, sustainable way. Almost the entire manufacturing process takes place right here in America. They are designing, dyeing and cutting it in the USA. Then, the garments are assembled in the U.S. or Central America.
WATER REDUCTION: By using newer, more efficient dye machines, these shirts are being produced with 7x less water than the average for clothing manufacturers, saving 24 million gallons a week. Any water used goes through a filtration system that allows it to be recycled.
ENERGY REDUCTION: The shirt manufacture uses solar energy to power their sewing and cutting facilities, motion-sensor LED lighting and skylights throughout each building.
VIRTUALLY ZERO WASTE: The manufacturing facilities produce almost no landfill because they recycle everything that can't be turned into a tee. They've optimized the cutting to reduce plastic use, and excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs or stuffing for upholstery. Let nothing go to waste!
MADE TO ORDER SHIRT PRINTING: By printed on demand, we eliminate waste from excess inventory. Made-to-order is making a difference in traditional retail and taking a step towards sustainable and responsible fashion production. In traditional made-to-sell retail stores, products are made in large quantities and often exceed market demand. Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage.
We use direct to garment printing for our apparel, which uses inkjet technology: the water-based ink is sprayed onto the garment, helping the ink soak in better with no excess ink or dye. For our paper prints, like framed posters, we use Epson ink that has a low environmental impact.
